At UCF, we are constantly communicating with and evaluating the investment managers we utilize within our funds, and we have made some significant change in the first half of 2020. We have eliminated Fiduciary Management and added Nuveen’s Core Impact Bond Strategy to our Fixed Income Fund.
Matthew Illian joins United Church Funds in August 2020 as Director of Responsible Investing, bringing in broad experience in capital markets, personal financial advising and impact investing. We spent time with Matthew to learn how he started in the responsible investing field, the evolvement of responsible investing, his view on racial justice investing and what his family is passionate about.
UCF announced that Brown Endowment grants of over $100,000 has been awarded so far this year to 13 United UCC conferences to help them implement support programs and leadership development for authorized ministers who are addressing and responding to the crisis and trauma caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and protests for racial justice.
