Matthew joined UCF in 2020 as the Director of Responsible Investing. He brings extensive experience working with philanthropic organizations and other values-based investors in designing investment strategies that achieve both financial and mission-aligned impact. Matthew is a CFP® professional. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Virginia, where he double majored in Economics and Government while a scholarship athlete on the Track and Cross Country team. He is nearly completed with a Master’s degree in Finance from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. Matthew serves on the board of the Richmond Memorial Health Foundation, the Virginia Impact Investing Forum and the Bon Secours Mercy Health – Richmond Market Hospital System. Matthew originally hails from Hillsdale, NJ and has lived since 2004 in Richmond, VA, with his wife and their four energetic children. The entire family prefers pedal-powered transport.
