Matt joined UCF in February 2013 as the Investor Development Associate, and currently serves as the Vice President, Institutional Relationships. As a senior member of the UCF management team, Matt provides leadership to Institutional Relationship and Client Service efforts, responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow the organization, providing a top-tier client experience, and building relationships with key stakeholders and partners. Matt also works directly with a select group of UCF clients to develop prudent asset allocation and endowment governance strategies.
Matt received his education from McKendree University (BA) and Murray State University (MBA). Prior to UCF, Matt worked in non-profit administration, business consulting, and investment advising roles. Matt grew up in the United Church of Christ and is a proud “P.K.” (Pastor’s Kid). He is a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud Illinois and currently serves as Church Council President. He also serves a volunteer member of the Board of Trustees for Eden Theological Seminary (St. Louis MO), UCC Church Building and Loan Fund (Cleveland OH), and UCC’s Council for Health and Human Service Ministries (Cleveland OH). He also provides leadership to the Investment Committee of the Deaconess Foundation (St. Louis MO).
An avid golfer, outdoorsman, and traveler, Matt and his wife Sara reside in Red Bud, Illinois.
