Doni Mooberry Slough is financial adviser and owner of Mooberry Financial Management, LLC, a financial services business in Lawrence, Kansas. A graduate of the University of Kansas, Ms. Slough has a law degree, a Master’s degree in accounting and is securities and securities principle licensed. Her firm provides comprehensive financial management, tax services, estate planning services and business development advice to individuals and small to mid-size business. Ms. Slough is a member of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ in Lawrence, Kansas. Her service at Plymouth has included service on the Music and Fine Arts board, the Stewardship Board, the Pastoral Transitional Team and she currently serves as Church Treasurer.
Ms. Slough is passionate about Purposeful Money Management as a path to increasing personal happiness, decreasing anxiety and stress, and building a culture of generous giving in organizations and communities. She has taught courses in personal finance at many non-profit organizations, Plymouth Church and local businesses.
Ms. Slough was a volunteer adjunct instructor in the Humanities at the University of Kansas for ten years and is the Co-founder of two community organizations: By Kids for Kids and Families Forever.
