Churchill Franklin co-founded Acadian Asset Management in 1986. Acadian is a quantitative institutional asset management firm with $100 billion in assets under management. Churchill later became the firm’s CEO and Chairman before retiring in 2020.
A graduate of Middlebury College, Churchill is an Emeritus Trustee of Middlebury and a member of the Investment Committee for the College’s $1.5 billion endowment. Earlier in his career, Churchillserved as the assistant treasurer of Thermo Electron Corporation (now Thermo Fisher Scientific), a Fortune 500 company, and as a commercial loan officer at Bank of Boston (now Bank of America).
