A resolution calling for all members of the UCC to support non-violent activism in the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine passed at the 30th General Synod in Cleveland today.
The resolution titled, A Call for the United Church of Christ to Take Actions Toward a Just Peace in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, calls for divestment from a named, though not exclusive, set of companies doing business in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
