The Rev. Dr. Cameron Barr is senior pastor of United Church of Chapel Hill, a bilingual and multicultural congregation in North Carolina. From 2021-2023, Dr. Barr is chair of the United Church of Christ Board, where he has served as vice-chair of the Investment and Endowment Committee and chair of the Finance and Budget Committee. He is a graduate of Davidson College and Vanderbilt Divinity School, and he holds a doctor of ministry degree from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. As a minister and institutional leader, Dr. Barr is an advocate for racial and gender equity. He seeks to build a church where all people can flourish and many different communities come into the presence of God.
